Race for Judge discussed in Perry County letters
A March 1908 correspondence from Perry County Democrats argues Ridley has strong support and Cook is unlikely to win. The letter, signed by E G Hurssrower and later attached to a published missive, claims Ridley will attract more votes and may carry the county, while Luckett seeks to boost Cook’s chances. Wa Rover endorses this view.
