Congressional Convention to Nominate Candidate in Auburn
A notice from Avivan Ind dated March 18 1886 calls a Democratic district convention at Auburn DeKalb County on May th day at 1 o clock am to select delegates for the Fifth Congress race. Delegates allotted by vote totals from 1834 include Alten DeKalb Lagran Roble Stauben Whitley counties with 44 14 7 14 7 19 delegates respectively. The meeting will also handle other business and is signed Ev B Geeuze Chairman and Tuomas H Breok Secretary.
