Men lock 100 day terms after fishing law appeal
Three Franklin men Merle Krepp G W Krepp and R C Krepp refused to pay fines of 150 each for Pennsylvania fishing law violations and appealed to court. They now face 100 days in county jail or a $450 bond plus costs after a Saturday ruling. The charges stemmed from an alleged joint effort on the Allegheny River to obstruct a fish warden during a Sunday night incident involving a device used for king salmon and bulldog fishing. Judge Lee A McGrawken ruled the evidence supported convictions.
