Ice Cream Social At Wright School Draws 750 Attendees
More than 750 people attended the Wright School Ice Cream Social from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday. Mrs. Donald Gibas, general chairman of the Wright School PTA, said the event, sponsored by the PTA, offered ice cream, cupcakes, coffee and soft drinks. Proceeds benefit the PTA treasury.

Sparta Grange met Saturday evening with William Scouten Sr. presiding. New members were instructed in ritual work as Miss Dorothy Chelton presented a Calendar program with songs for each month. Ladies Aid Meets At Bailey Home
Mrs Ralph Bailey of Vinestreet hosted the Spencer Ladies Aid at her home last evening. Eleven members attended as President Mrs Robert Clark Sr led the business session and Scripture was read by Mrs Monroe Silvis. Routine reports were given and the group voted to donate to the United Water. Dessert refreshments followed. Mrs Robert Bailey to entertain next on October 8 at her Conelway Road RD3 home.
