Singer Fans Riot After Show Stopped in Dallas
In Dallas Memorial Auditorium fans rioted after an unscheduled Ray Charles show halted. A flying bottle knocked a police officer unconscious as officers battled the crowd. Police said several hundred tried to storm the box office after an unidentified spokesman announced the intermission end. IRS agents entered the box office to impound receipts from the promoter.

Fire Company Head Charged After Raid
The president of Summit Township Volunteer Fire Department in Harmansburg pleaded guilty Saturday to establishing and maintaining a gambling establishment. Kenneth DeRoss was released on bond pending court appearance after a Meadville State Police raid found dice, chuck-a-luck, and card games in progress at the Harmonsburg fire hall about 1:30 am. About 100 persons were present. Also, Sam J. Boal, editor of the Diners Club magazine, died yesterday in New York.
