Six Erie area juveniles and two others ran from a Linesville officer at the high school after causing a disturbance. Airplanes piloted by Jury Bolard and Officer Herman Kimple spotted the group walking toward Conneaut Lake and led authorities to a barn where they hid. A woman’s call enabled officers to capture them. the car they rode in was stolen in Erie. Ages ranged 15 to 17, with most having prior police records. Andrew Boythe, 40, hospitalized since September 2 after an accidental fall into a basement at a new church under construction in Sparta.
