Day Speaker 10 Presents Word Picture of A. S.
Arrangements have been completed for Col. Prank B. Ebbert, organizer of the Bard of Temperance, to speak at the First Methodist church on Sunday morning Oct. 4. Ebbert has toured coast to coast with concise pictures of repeal effects and temperance education as the dry movement backbone. He has worked with Dr. Clarence True Wilson and is a veteran of the Spanish American and World Wars. Ebbert’s background includes Georgia birth, Ohio Wesleyan studies, DePauw, Chicago Law School, and Anti-Saloon League leadership in Illinois and Washington. He chose the prohibition platform over legislative leadership after Wheeler’s death, noted as a persuasive speaker on the American platform. An address by him is urged for youth and old-time temperance supporters alike.
