United Press reports from Peking say the Yellow River floods threaten 2,000,000 residents in the Shantung peninsula as 1500 square miles flood and the area grows hourly. Geologists fear the river may shift course to threaten Kiang Su outlets. the disaster is described as the worst since 1887.

Double electrocution at Rockview today
At Rockview penitentiary in Bellefonte Pennsylvania Julius McKinley Branham and John A Walker were executed in a double electrocution. Branham was convicted for the murder of his boarding mistress Margaret Henderson. Walker killed Jesse Lopp in an altercation at his home. Both men made no statements before dying.

Three Die In Mercer County Auto Crash
In eastern Mercer county a second fatal crash within 90 hours killed three men on the Mercer Grove City road two miles from here. Edward Mylott 17 of Youngstown Paul Barnes 20 of Sharon and Harry Pressley 21 of Sharon died from injuries. Pressley said he was driving as headlights blinded him. he passed another car, left the road and fell into a deep ditch.

Forty four drivers lose state licenses
Revelations of automobile drivers licenses numbered forty four for the past week, the state highway department announced today. Twenty seven licenses were surrendered for intoxication and nine for transporting liquor. The department placed nine drivers on the blacklist, one or more charged with intoxication.

Erie Sept 3 Katn Farsonn 11 suffered a head cut and body bruises Friday night after rushing from a doorway into a state street near Twelfth and German streets. Westbound car driven by Mrs. Bva Hoagland of Norma Way struck her. she was taken to Hamet hospital with injuries described as serious though not life threatening.
