Judge Rules For Franklin In Six Year City Land Suit
Venango County Judge Lee A. McCracken ruled in favor of the City of Franklin in a six year dispute with Paul J. Renard over land now hosting Chess Lambert airport. Renard sought 60 000 for land bought for 3 275 and claimed an implied 20 year exclusive airport lease. the city said no binding lease existed until construction was completed and terms were to be set then. The decision followed months of court filings and prior attempts to resolve the lease agreement with city officials.
