Corry native Glen Dickson, employed near Shreveport, sustained a severe scalp wound but escaped skull fracture. His parents traveled to Louisiana after receiving telegrams from his employer reporting improved condition and no serious injury. New York September 26 Stocks moved from an early decline to a sharp rally as trading picked up late. Radio Corporation jumped to 211, gaining about 11 points. Several issues posted wide gains in heavy turnover while earlier dealings showed irregularities and lighter activity.
A Lincolnville resident, Sam O Stroba aged 2, was crushed under gravel at Canadotte Lake on Tuesday afternoon while loading a wagon. His brother summoned neighbors. one horse died and another was injured. The body was recovered and later identified as Eldredge St John’s son from Lanvoine.
