Clyde Messenger aged 76 of R D 1 Columbus died at Corry Memorial Hospital after a three month stay. Born July 28 1891 he lived in Columbus Township all his life and was a lifelong farmer. He served 20 years as township assessor and worked at Corry Jamestown Corp from 1942 to 1957. Survived by wife Mamie Gates and several children and grandchildren. Funeral services at Bracken Funeral Home Friday. Burial Westlawn Cemetery Columbus.
