A two car crash at the Franklin and Walnut intersection at 3 15 p m yesterday caused heavy damage to both vehicles and minor injuries to Beverly Stinn Corry aged from Corry who was treated at the university hospital and discharged. Officer Walter Kotobits investigation cited Grace Sting and Beverly Sting both of Corry as drivers. Ray Weager of Titusville reported as a witness.
A crash in Crashes At Child Was Injured area involved a Weaver car and a lorry. The center rear fender was shoved against the tire and window glass shattered. The Weaver front end was smashed and the motor out of commission. The Stine child was injured when the door opened and fell to the pavement. Tracy ambulance responded and Mrs Eilrig and her daughter were taken to the hospital. Weaver was not injured. A crowd gathered at the scene.

Pittsburgh Sept 25 The Pennsylvania Supreme Court will take no action in the case of Erie county Judge Miles B Kitts while he remains off the bench. Chief Justice George W Maxey ruled that removal proceedings cannot proceed if Judge Kitts does not resume duties as a jurist. The court opened its fall term with oral arguments on its power to remove and considered future steps if he returns to work.
The U S Maritime Commission awarded the M pennant to Ajax Iron Works and its employees. Exercises and a public inspection drew hundreds, with good weather enabling the full program. A dinner followed at the Corry Country Club and a joint committee was named to plan a large get-together for all plant personnel within the next week or ten days.
Pennsylvania dairy farmers will receive uniform feed payments for September through December. Previously, payments varied by county drought status, with 45 to 80 cents per hundred pounds in drought counties and 70 cents in others. A state weather study prompted widening the 80 cent payment to all producers.

Lt William R Brown B 24 Navigator is killed in action over New Guinea on September 1 with his crew after serving since May 1942. A 22 year old from East Pleasant Street Velimai Ar More, he logged over 250 hours in combat and participated in early raids on Hal Tihera and Palau. Survivors include wife Dorothy of West Palm Beach and parents Mr and Mrs Robert E Brown, plus brothers Mare and Douglas.
George Law, 35, of Springboro, died after a head on collision four miles from Albion in Brie county. Three Conneautville men Carlyle Field 4, James Clements 18, Emery Furdosh, and Donald Mangel of Alplon were injured and taken to hospital. Law died about an hour and a half after being rushed to Memorial Hospital Conneaut.
Civil Air Patrol members have guarded the wrecked AT-6 trainer near Lawrence Airport for three nights awaiting dismantling crews from Bittsburgh Buffalo or Middletown Harrisburg. Lieut William Jewell narrowly escaped death Friday. CAP expects Army authorities to send men and gear soon. Jewell remains at home awaiting disposition of the plane before his return to Phoenix. State police inspected the wreck and filed a report for Harrisburg. Also, Donald M. Nelson prepared to brief Roosevelt on a China mission after returning from the Orient.
