Court weighs murder appeal in Mayville case
Leo Mlectko, 28, appeals his first degree murder conviction in the fatal assault on Lydia Warner, a railroad tower operator. Defense argues the trial was unfair and seeks reversals citing an invalid dying declaration and improper testimony by police and nurses. Prosecutors contend Warner was conscious when she identified the defendant.
