Three year old Jack Wilson of Pittsburgh died in Erie from strychnine pills eaten as candy. He was visiting relatives in Kearsarge when the tragedy occurred. Coroner's report cites poisoning as cause of death.
Funeral services for Michael Farrell were held at St Thomas Church at 9 o clock this morning after he died at his home on 120 West Pleasant Street following a stroke last week. Rev Brancis Graves officiated. Interment was in St Thomas Cemetery with bearers John, Frank, Thomas, Howard Hopkins Michael and John Farrell. Attendees from out of town included numerous relatives from Jamestown Spartansburg Albion and Columbus among others.
David Paul a 9 year old son of Mr and Mrs Henry Paul of Silver Creek a nephew of Mrs Caldwell of Maple Avenue suffered a compound fracture of the right thigh and a severe scalp wound when struck by an automobile at Silver Creek on Thursday He was enroute from school to home at the time The boy is in Silver Creek hospital Relatives Mrs Corinne Dean and Mrs Mary Blair and daughter Florence were visitors today
