Prisoner's Hanging Not Part Of Upheaval

A 23 year old prisoner Horace Brown from Wilmington Delaware hanged himself with his belt in a Chester County Farms cell during days of disorder. Warden Charles W Frame said the suicide was not linked to the prison farm disturbances. Browns sentence for larceny and burglary began Wednesday as 10 to 15 months. Guards found him an hour after he was moved to maximum security for refusing a work order. State and local police entered two cellblocks with guns as prisoners defied orders, then returned to cells. The disturbance coincided with the September grand jury inspection.
