Boy, 12, Survives Culvert Deluge Ordeal
In Duluth Minnesota 12 year old John Schroepfer and 13 year old Steve Chapman rode to a restaurant after a heavy rain. They removed boards from a culvert then John fell in. He fought for air for about three to four minutes, surfaced repeatedly, and escaped at the far end. Police were alerted and he was treated for bruises a cut and a sprained wrist before going home. His mother said Heaven didn t need a good little boy today.
