A rummage sale is listed for 317 East South Street Friday and Saturday. A coroner's jury in Jamestown found Audrey Aen Wieoskowski died due to her own negligence crossing 12th Street between Ash and Wallace. Witnesses and driver Sam Rotman, 39, testified after long proceedings. Fred Marsh and Caroline Laughlin pleaded to petit larceny in a separate matter. Judge Allen J. E. Bargar sentenced Marsh to four months in county jail and Laughlin to six months in state penitentiary.

Meadville court convicts woman in firearm case
Alberta Wallace of Youngstown was convicted today on three counts of wantonly pointing and discharging firearms. Testimony showed she rode a taxi in Meadville a week, pulled a revolver at driver Tra Lewis who said she refused to pay the fare.
