Two Negroes Robbed Home at Franklin
Two armed men robbed the Angeli Delmasen residence on Franklin Street at about 2 AM. They bound Mrs. Delmasen as her children hid nearby, demanding money but fled when no cash appeared. Police and Dr. Brown were notified. victim shaken but unharmed aside from nervous shock. The incident followed a prior visit to the Venango Manufacturing Company where the robbers suspected there was money in the house. A lookout and pursuit were reported later in the afternoon.
