Two Corry residents treated after self harm attempts
In Corry and Warren two residents faced self inflected injuries this weekend. Dr Marilyn Denton of Corry was treated at Warren General Hospital after a fall or jump from a bridge top 30 feet into a cement slab and river. A 19 year old Corry man in Hamot Health Center Erie suffered a drug overdose after a death by own action note. The Corry woman remained in serious condition at Saint Vincent Health Center following a two car crash near Routes 20 and 98. Fire crews aided in retrieving Denton from the river and officials noted a low spirits state preceding the act. State police also found a local man unconscious from pills in a field and transported him to Hamot Health Center.
