Erie county courts opened four new divorce actions yesterday, two naming Corry residents. Elizabeth Rizzo of Corry sues Charles Rizzo with unknown address, while John Rubay of Corry sues Gloria Rubay, address unknown. Reading man found guilty of second degree murder
A Berks county jury found Cledith L. Johnson of St. Louis guilty of second degree murder in the strangling of Frank Pee Wee Haney, a 40 year old Reading Company section hand near Monocacy. Judge Warren K. Hess will impose sentence within a few days. Johnson faces up to 20 years.

Headmaster's Counsel Demands Acquittal in Rape Case
West Chester Pa September 18 Counsel for George W Balles Jr a 35 year old former private school operator demanded acquittal on a statutory rape charge. His attorney argued the 11 year old witness denied relations with him while the prosecution urged conviction. The case arose after a police officer found Balles in a parked car with the girl.
