Hill Street Graveling Policy Debated by City Council
City Council meets to discuss curbing loose gravel usage on dirt streets after mayor’s annual address. Recent sewer blockages in East Smith street link to gravel from hillside roads and WPA era road work. Plan likely to favor black top over widespread graveling and set dates for tax appeals. Discussions also cover South Center drainage dispute and White property on West Columbus.
