A double birthday party Saturday at 320 East Main Street honored two sisters, Alice turning seven and Doris six, with a clown yellow orange theme, games, refreshments, and a decorated cake. Card Party The 101 Days Till Christmas at Moose Lodge
The Stanford Hose Company Ladies Auxiliary hosted its fourth annual card party at the Moose Lodge for about 225 attendees. The event featured holiday decor, prizes wrapped in Christmas paper, a decorated tree and Santa. Special prizes included three $50 awards won by Jerry Mick, Eileen Simmons and Betty Smith, plus numerous individual and table prizes won by many attendees. Special thanks were given to Santa performer Stanley Olander and sponsors Corry Savings and Loan, Moose Lodge, Hammond Builders Supplies, alongside firemen volunteers. General chairs were Mrs. William Brigham and Mrs. John Burglund with a large list of assistants.
