In the Gwrip District of Pittsburgh a gun battle wounded a man who was taken to a hospital with bullet injuries. George Faber, 28, and Josiph Race, 24, were among those shot while a motorcar drove up and the occupants opened fire on a group nearby.

Union City man severely injured after train collision

A Union City resident was struck by a light engine at the Market Street crossing of the Pennsylvania Railroad late last night. He suffered severe injuries to the left side, with worries of internal injuries, and was taken to Union City hospital in grave condition. Doctor J C Kibler attended him.

Three Die in Brockton Belmont Street Bus Crash

Committee Named to Draft Traffic Code in City

Mayor Bracken announced a special committee appointed by the City Council to draft a traffic ordinance. Air Derby Plane Crashes En Route to Spokane

City of Olympia entry E1 piloted by Lieutenant Valentine Gaphart and Fred Parker crashed near Grampian in Clearfield County as engine failed at 2000 feet. Gaphart parachuted to safety with minor bruises, plane damaged beyond repair after forced landing in a hayfield.
