Auxiliary Holds Meet At Hospital
The Corry Memorial Hospital Auxiliary held its first fall meeting in the hospital conference room with Miss Clara Hill presiding. Highlights include 179 active and 49 associate members, dues reminders, 37 Candy Striper trainees with several on a waiting list, and plans for fundraisers and events including a Sno Ball at the Elks Lodge on December 18. A regional fall conference is set for October 13 in St Marys with registrations by October 1. Also noted were new smock orders, rummage sale plans, and a Women’s Liberation in Biblical Perspective program led by Mrs. Van Dresar. Births reported: Sandra Marie Krasa, daughter of James and Linda Krasa. Claudine Yvette MarLett, daughter of Lawrence and Judy MarLett. and twin daughters born to Jack and Sally Crotty.
