School Board Holds Routine Meeting in Library Basement
The Board of Education met last evening in the library basement for routine business. Attending were Bates president directors Keppel Monroe and Porter. The board set nonresident tuition at 10 dollars for high school and 6.50 for grade pupils and named Ross H Fleming truancy officer for 1927 28. Elizabeth Barney was re elected to a five year term as library trustees. Two hundred dollars were voted to the Teachers Association to cover institute session expenses.
