Corry Knights Templar Attend Northwestern Pennsylvan ia Meeting

Corry members will attend the Knights Templar gathering to be held at Hotel Conneaut Lake Park today. The Vicomte de Sivoue and the Vicomtesse, ex American Miss Violette Selfofilge, left Star Lane airdrome, London, today to fly around the world in a Moth light motor plane named the Safar. The Vicomte wore khaki trousers silk shirt and leather coat as they started the journey toward Paris.

Veterans Smoker Planned After Chautauqua Parade

Plans are well advanced for a large smoker and gathering of World War veterans from Chautauqua Warren Crawford and Erie counties in Jamestown tomorrow night. Lynn Van Vieck leads a Jamestown delegation of American Legion to attend the parade through the business district ending at the State Armory. A varied program of vaudeville acts and Uniontown convention films will be shown followed by a luncheon at the Armory to feed the visitors.

Miss Ashton Dies Suddenly in New Brighton

News of the sudden death of Miss Margaret Ashton reaches Corry friends. The longtime resident, who had planned a visit here, died at her home in New Brighton, Pa, while living with her brother Rev. M S Ashton, former rector of Emmanuel Episcopal church. Funeral services are planned for Monday at Hyde Park.

Corry Man Struck by Car Near Hotel Corry

Michael Gannon, of Past Congress Street, stepped from the curb in front of the Hotel Corry and was struck by a Chevrolet coupe driven by Byron Blakeslee of Wattsburg.
