New Principal Named At Youngsville School

The Corry Joint Committee approved F. Matthews as new principal of Brokenstraw Valley Joint High School at Youngsville after eight years teaching mathematics and coaching wrestling. Woman Dies In Pileup Of 3 Cars Semi

MEADVILLE A 56 year old woman from Pittsburgh suburb Mont Lebanon died in a crash that involved a tractor-trailer and three other vehicles on Route 19 six miles south of Meadville. The victim was Mrs Mutlit Schenck. Her husband Rand G. Schenck, 60, and Mrs Frances Brundage, 40 of Toronto, were injured. Schenck died from a fractured skull and internal injuries. The accident occurred when a Walton vehicle halted for traffic, another car stopped behind, and a semi failed to stop, forcing a chain collision across the highway.
