Burglars Steal Suits From Erie Tailor Shop
Erie police investigated a burglary at William Blassey tailor shop at 925 East Avenue. About 400 dollars worth of apparel, including 10 customer suits freshly dry cleaned, a black sealin coat, three trousers and two lumber jackets, were taken after a window was smashed around 1 am Sunday.

Seven youths injured as truck overturns near Renovo
Seven car enrollees from Ole Fil Camp S B7 were injured when a truck bound from Renovo to the camp overturned at the intersection of U S Route 14 and Route M4 at Drury Run. About 20 passengers were aboard. police reported the light went off as the vehicle turned. Names include Luis Tougias, 20, Altoona, with multiple injuries.

Youth Struck by Auto Crank in Harborcreek
Alple J. Urmann, 16, son of Mr and Mrs Louis Urmann of Harborcreek, is in fair condition at St Vincent's hospital after a crank accident Saturday.
