Erie Sept 15 An investigation into the alleged unjustified arrest of William Finn 28 of 111 Chestnut Street after he stabbed an intruder in the stomach with a butcher knife while defending his home at 1 12 a.m. Wednesday continues. Finn, a former special policeman, sought legal counsel and possible charges of false arrest, claiming he was held for several hours without charge. He said he acted to stop the burglar trying to enter his house, pursued the intruder into an alley after he plunged the knife into the man’s abdomen. Police Sergeant Nugent reportedly questioned Finn after he arrived at headquarters.
