Wright School PTA Plans Annual Ice Cream Social
The Wright School PTA schedules a September 28 ice cream social from 1 to 4 p.m. in the school cafeteria. Admission is 25 cents per person, ticket admits four cupcakes, ice cream, and a beverage. Tickets sold by students or at the door. Cochairs are Mrs. Dennis Frushone and Mrs. Tim Spanbauer, with assistants Mrs. John Patterson and Mrs. William Cross. The Rotary Club of Corry will present its first Travel and Adventure Series featuring four nationally known travelogue artists. They appear on major platforms including National Geographic and Town Hall venues in New York and San Francisco. Each is a professional photographer with years of world travel and filming experience. The series showcases all color motion pictures shot by the individual photographers.

Moffat School Reunion Held
The sixth annual Moffat School reunion and banquet attracted 42 attendees from Erie. Speakers shared memories of Moffat, its 1956 closing, and the move to Conelway School. Officers named include Robert Lindstrom president and Neil Gates treasurer. An old fashion box social is planned for October 26 at Harbor Hall Community House with new officers.

The Covenant Circle of the First Presbyterian Church met Tuesday morning at Mrs. Robert Tunnell's West Park Place home with 14 members present. Mrs. Eugene Davis and Mrs. H Kenton Leishman led devotions from Matthew eight and featured a tape by missionary Norman Rondarmel. The next session is set for October 7 at Mrs. John Brown's North Center Street home.
