A man identified as stoner Mizerski, 37, of Pittsburgh, was killed when a freight elevator crushed him during a delivery in a downtown Pittsburgh building. Police report the incident occurred today and involved the Pennsylvania Trust Company.
United Press report from Erie details a Sunday crash on the East Springfield hill West Ridge road injuring five people from Cleveland all hospitalized. Victims include Alvina Walodeko 38 and Joseph Duda 43 with facial lacerations chest injuries and burns. The mishap involved a dusted truck passed by David Malovitz 36 who escaped injury.
A decomposed body, believed to be about sixty, was found in a Barn on Walter Brown farm two miles northeast of Hinsdale. Prank Weaver of Mansfield, Pa discovered the body after stumbling on it in the barn while seeking shelter. State police sergeant John Kricks and Harry Harwig investigated. clothing and details described.
Mrs. Effie Tigh, wife of the late Fish and well known Spar tansburg resident, died this morning at 5:40 at Ime Cory Hospital where she had been a patient since Adigil at Bist. Born in Crawford County October 1868, she leaves a husband and several children. body taken to Spar tansburg by Undertaker Torrey.
In Takestown Sept 12 Mrs Augusta Le Santiell 88 of Lakeview Ave fractured her shin after being struck by a trolley car of Jamestown Street Railway Co. her son in law Andrew J Anderson pres and mg. Her condition is critical at WWCA hospital. A passing auto blown horn caused her to move. the driver fled.
Four persons injured in a car collision near Girard on Sunday. Mrs. Clara Copelan of Meadville may lose sight in one eye, hospitalized at St. Vincent's. Also injured are Beta Yeager 24 Walter Pierce 26 and Mildred Yagger 26 of Meadville. Police said Yeager drove a car colliding with Joseph Weaver's vehicle from Girard. Mary Raymond, who is involved in a separate incident at Lockport New York, returned home this evening.
