Car repairman badly injured in Kane yards tragedy
Garrett Spence, a car repairman in Kane, was seriously injured when struck by a locomotive near the shops yesterday afternoon. His right leg was mangled and amputated above the knee at Cane Summit hospital, after he remained conscious during rescue and was taken by Brown’s ambulance to hospital for treatment. Other men, Carl son, David son, Leinger, and Charles Carson, were nearby. Carlson narrowly escaped serious injury.
