Atlanta Sept 1 The Georgia youngest bootlegger Wevearald Ley Jaem Kwo Voles pleaded guilty today for peddling whiskey. He told Judge Robert Jevin in federal court he delivered whiskey for a local liquor syndicate for months. Judge Irvin sentenced Clint to two years in the training school for boys in Washington D. C.
The Meadville jury of twelve, six men and six women, hearing the Duli Shorts trial for murder and trespass faced a long deliberation. After about forty eight hours without a verdict, a report from Meadville indicated no decision had been reached by late afternoon Wednesday.
An engineering survey is planned as the state department weighs routes from Columbus through Corry. Proposals include Main Street, Scott’s Crossing, and a Columbus Avenue option. Steel delivery slowed the Findley Lake bridge project on the three mile stretch. Steel is in place and some concrete poured yesterday. Expect a few more days of work to finish the bridge and open traffic while the Findley Lake to North East road remains open with a temporary detour near the bridge site. Officials say the overall highway improvement to Erie via this route should be completed in permanent form within a few days.
