Deaths Evald W Carlson as aged 81 in Corry
Evald W Carlson died early this morning at Curry Memorial Hospital at age 81. Born in Goteborg Sweden on July 31 1883 he lived in Sweden and worked as a street car motorman before marrying Alma Johnson in Sweden on March 11 1904. He immigrated to the United States in 1910 settling in Jamestown where he worked as a case maker for several firms before retiring to Corry eight years ago. Survived by wife a daughter three sons four grandchildren seven great grandchildren a brother and two sisters in Sweden. Services Monday at Bracken Funeral Home with burial in Pine Grove Cemetery.

A three day youth crusade begins today at Dobbs Corners Community Church and Excelsior Full Gospel Church with evening services at 3 o clock. Bob Rhoden of Teen Challenge Inc will speak Friday at 8 p m at Dobbs Corners Church. The effort aims to warn parents of narcotics dangers and showcase youth ministry work in urban areas through street rallies and the film Raised From The Dead.
