Aged Couple and Two Die in Route 27 Crash southwest of Warren

Three people die in a two car collision on Route 27 about 15 miles southwest of Warren. John W. Anderson and wife Belle of Grand Valley and Walter D. Swanner of Aliquippa were killed. Swanner’s car swerved into the Anderson vehicle on a straight stretch, no witnesses. The crash caused a two mile traffic jam and required two hours to clear. Coroner Ed C Lowrey said investigation continues and a ruling may come today.
