Corry Woman Dies At Birthday Gathering
A Corry woman, Mrs. Freno, died at 5:30 p.m. after collapsing during a birthday party at 127 East Pleasant Street. Born 1876 in Germany, she immigrated at 18, lived in New York and New Jersey, and later moved to Corry. She is survived by a son and two daughters, with several grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Plant Worker Killed At Berwick Plant
George Zemany aged 87 of Conyngham was fatally pinned between a backing tractor trailer and loading ramp at the ACP Industries plant in Berwick.
