Man Wanted by FBI Is Captured in Beaver Falls
A former Florida prisoner Joseph Zalutsky, a 70 year old life term escapee, was captured in Beaver Falls by Officer Theodore Smith. Zalutsky, a former Allentown resident, had escaped Florida State Prison in 1961 after a bank robbery and gunfight. he admitted his identity and faced murder and escape charges. In a separate crash in Greensburg, Nicholas J. Haller Jr. died and Domenic Tezd was injured.
