Two motorists in Corry plead guilty for stop sign violation
In Shielnieville Police Justice W Earl Minckler fined two drivers. One resident of Corry, Fynford G Chase, admitted failing to halt at a four stop sign. A Pennsylvania Gas Company spokesman said no immediate drilling planned in Northeastern Crawford County and lease activity concentrates west of Oil Creek.

Man to undergo mental test in murder case in Germany

Harmony Line May Lose Permit Action by Public Utility Commission
The Harmony Short Line faces a 10 day deadline to justify its operating permit after failing to provide bus service in the Pittsburgh area. A wage dispute with AFL-CIO Union 1007 has halted service since May 29, with the union seeking a 21 cent per hour raise while the company offers five cents now and 16 cents in November.
