No Increase in Erie City Taxes for 1946
Erie, Sept 7. Joseph Mann, finance director, said no change is expected in the city tax millage of 14 mills as officials prepare the 1946 budget in December. The millage was raised three-fourths of a mill in 1985, with Martin and Hickey Jr. voting against. Mann predicted a $185,000 cash balance by year end due to police and payroll savings.
