Hear Complaint on Clymer Road in Jamestown
H L Carlisch of Clymer met with Mayor Harry Ericlson to air a dispute over the Nazareth farm to market road project. He claimed 345,000 would fund a six mile stretch benefiting six farmers who pay about 400 yearly in taxes. He proposed an 814 mile alternative route to serve many residents, but officials rejected his plan and work has begun. The Nazareth road would connect the Jamestown Clymer road with Harmony Clymer Town Line road. The note adds a line about the first English duke, Black Prince, being created Duke of Cornwall in 1387.
