School Heads Indicted In Slippery Rock College Case
United Press reports two Slippery Rock Teachers College officials, President Charles F. Miller and Burglar David Ketterer, were indicted by the Butler county grand jury on malfeasance nonfeasance and misfeasance in office and conspiracy. An additional fraudulent conversion charge was returned against Ketterer. The bursar had been suspended after a State Motor Police investigation led by Patrolman Williard Schauer.

Woman shoots self in failed murder at Cumberland County Home
Carlisle Pennsylvania Sept 6 Mrs Jean N Brymesser 53 fatally shot herself through the head after attempting to kill her husband Benjamin in the Cumberland County Home administration building. County Governor H H Haegle said the couple once employed as steward and stewardess had been estranged for six months. Brumesser wounded in head and neck was taken to the Carlisle hospital where doctors expected recovery.
