A 46 year old man, Joseph Gilmore of Philadelphia, was identified by cards at the scene after attempting to climb a riverfront marker. He was shot by Philadelphia watchman Phil Rimolph, who fired with his cap and malatenurce pistol visible. Police report no further details available.

Weekend accidents sent six people to Corry Memorial Hospital. Wallace Cady, 13, fractured his left wrist after falling from a scaffold while helping his father, admitted yesterday. Gerald Perrin of Pittsfield suffered a second finger laceration from a power saw. Francis Crock of Erie sustained a left thumb laceration. Randall Chase, 6, from Pittsfield, punctured a left 'dower' area while playing. Mrs Bir Hawking, 20, of York Street, received facial, arm, and head injuries when a blast caused a piece to explode Sunday. Mrs Howard A. Cox, R D 1, underwent back observation after a Friday incident.
A 19 year old woman identified as Nis fhred was arrested Saturday in Hie My for operating without a proper permit while selling books. An Allen Foote of 801 World Street filed a complaint, and witnesses identified the suspect as Helen Lucien Vorhes. The incident occurred as she walked toward a mat, with others present. In a separate note, Edward Clings Piney, 86, former assistant secretary of the interior, died yesterday.

SAN RAfael Calif A University of California graduate Flora Wildl Anderson 24 fell about 1000 feet from a rented small aircraft at San Anselmo Bay Airport. Pilot Stanley Gartoli 28 of Belvedere was questioned and released. Acting District Attorney Roger Guraty said it appears a suicide. Gordon and Miss Anderson were passengers. authorities continued search efforts for the body as the plane departed from the airport yesterday.
