Five Year World Plan Proposed at Amsterdam Conference
Dr. Lewis L. Lorwin of the Institute of Economics in Washington proposes a five year moratorium on debts and reparations with final settlements left open. He also suggests international loans on condition of a tariff truce and shared control of world markets, while warning that rivalries could undermine trade walls and harm industry.
