Paternity of Erie Child Questioned in Nonsupport Court
In Erie in a nonsupport case Blanche Vane admitted her husband Joseph Vane was not the father of a child born to her. She testified the statements were dictated by Vane and named Dr. P T Johnson as the alleged father. The judge ordered briefs from the attorneys with no ruling. Vane had earlier sued Dr. Johnson in common pleas for $50,000 for alienation of affections, likely to go to trial at the next civil session.
