J B Mixer 22 West Sasquar Street drove west toward the highway when his Nash Refan skidded on a slippery curve, crossed rails, and rolled to a stop. Mrs Root and Miss Wellman suffered serious injuries with burns contusions and possible fractures. Mrs Root had a severe laceration. All three were taken to Corry Hospital. others were discharged after treatment. State Police investigated the crash and listed the Nash as damaged.
