United Press reports tightened evidence in the Powers murders case in Clarksburg West Virginia. Police displayed a roll of honeymoon photos showing Harry F. Powers and his future bride Mrs Sarai Pressler Lemke of Massachusetts in rustic settings. The images link to Powers alleged mail order matrimonial scheme and his travel from Worcester to Clarksburg toward his farm. Authorities questioned Powers using the alias Cornelius Drivin Pierson and noted the totems of a purported will used to extract estates from victims. The coroner's jury examined the bodies and prepared remains for cremation and return to Park Ridge Illinois for further proceedings.
