Youth Electrocution On Odd Accident In New Castle Farm
In New Castle Pennsylvania on October 31 two men were injured by an electrical shock while a 15 year old Ellwood City boy Claude Newton helped them repair a farm pump. The boy and his brother John R Newton were shocked when a pipe lifted from a well touched a high tension wire on Julius Roth’s farm. John R Newton was treated at Jameson Memorial Hospital and released to recover. Claude Newton faced serious burns but survived.
