Vacationers Hunt in Wyoming and Local YMCA News
A Columbus group including Mr and Mrs Leonard Edwards Mr and Mrs Lawrence Miller and Mr and Mrs Jordan Christensen plus Harold Wade of Akron enjoyed a two week Wyoming mule deer trip with several bagging trophies. The group toured Kellogg Plant Battle Creek Michigan and visited Mackinac Bridge area. YMCA events feature attic treasures drive for November 19 bazaar and an arts and crafts workshop. Ninth Grade Tri-Hi-Y inducted 16 new members at the YMCA with a Halloween window painting project and bazaar planning.

Miss Cheryll Elizabeth Pike and John Elwood Brenner announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage. Miss Pike, a graduate of Louisville Academy and Nyack Missionary College, works for the Sparta Merged School. Brenner, a Sparta Merged High School graduate, is self employed. The Tuesday Afternoon Duplicate Bridge Club met at the YMCA for a four table Howell Session averaging 42. Winners include Mrs. Donald Hall and Mrs. Edward Thompson with 48 and several two pair ties such as Mrs. D A McClintock with Mrs. Jack Osman and Mrs. Veo Lindsey with Mrs. Rosalie Williams at 47. Also noted are Mrs. Walter Caster and Mrs. Larry Freed at 42. Corry Bridge Association held a three table Howell at the Corry Motor Inn with winners Mr. and Mrs. Charles Miller 32 and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Hansen 30. Future masters teams posted 31 to 24 with several couples sharing top scores. Reservations for next YMCA game by Mrs Cleve Morton.
