State Police to Serve Slot Machine Warrants in Erie
Erie District Attorney Dana McLaughlin stated state police will sign and serve warrants stemming from October 1 slot machine raids. About 80 suspects in the county face charges. warrants will be issued by Justice of the Peace Joseph E. Cresciman and served from state police headquarters.

Army officials said no information has been received from the Russians about the whereabouts of Lieutenant William J. Blonebraker of West Decatur Pennsylvania who left Berlin Sunday morning and did not appear at Helmstedt frontier. The Russians agreed to cooperate in the search per the Army report.
