Four Women Escape After Auto Overturn Near Columbus
Four Corry women narrowly escaped serious injuries when the car returning from a St. Pauls Lutheran Missionary Society meeting at Torpedo overturned about a mile east of Columbus at 9:30 last evening. Mrs Raymond Burr of East Frederick street suffered a fractured nose and a deep leg gash, while the other three occupants were bruised and shaken. Mrs Burr, with Mrs Carl Carlson Mrs C V Willard and Mrs Gust Swanson had attended the Torpedo meeting with Mrs B J Rhinehart. The wheel rim cracked causing the inner tube to blow out and the car ditched, the machine overturning and landing on its top.

Five die as trailer overturns near Marion Mississippi
Five killed and 23 injured when a trailer carrying cotton pickers broke loose from a motor truck and toppled down a six foot embankment near Marion. Victims hailed from Mariette Mississippi and included a two year old carried to the field with its father Wiley Niccols, who also died. Rescued Crusoe Men To Visit Balboa After Rescue
Three Americans rescued after six months off Coos Island aboard the Utegun boat Sacramento are due at Balboa Saturday. They are Paul Stachwick of Huron South Dakota Carl Palliser of San Diego and Gordon Brawner of Springfield Illinois. The Sacramento reached the tropical isle early Tuesday and plans a return voyage in about three days barring weather. The three were marooned April 5 when their yawl West Wind wrecked.
